Discovery: More season two episode titles revealed

CBS Interactive

The titles of the next four episodes of Star Trek: Discovery’s season two have been revealed.

Episode two is due to be broadcast in the coming hours and is titled “New Eden”. This episode, directed by franchise legend Jonathan Frakes, takes place on a human settlement of the same name.

Episode three is called “Point of Light” and could link to the return of Kahless once referenced by Worf (Michael Dorn) in the episode “Rightful Heir”.

The fourth episode of season two is called “An Obol of Charon” and is reference to an ancient Greek burial ritual where a coin is placed over a death person’s mouth. It is likely this could mark the return of Dr Culber (Hugh Wilson) who died in season one. It also could be a reference to Emperor Georgiou’s (Michelle Yeoh) ship from the mirror universe which was called the Charon.

The fifth episode is titled “Saints of Perfection which has another link to the religious themes that are littered throughout season two.

The sixth episode is called “The Sounds of Thunder” and may be reference to Ray Bradbury’s science fiction novel about time travel.

Episode two is streaming tonight on CBS All Access in the US and Canada, with the rest of the world seeing it on Netflix at 08:00 UK time the following day.
